Adair was born on Earth, dividing her time as a child between indulging her New Orleans socialite mother in becoming a part of the now ancient traditions of Old South society, and running the Louisiana bottomlands with her father and elder brothers. The Cajun vein of her heritage ruled her heart and mind, but the lessons learned in the vicious social circles of New Orleans taught her how to deal best with snakes.

Her father retired from a decorated career as a Marine Colonel, then returned to Louisiana-and the swampland-to hunt and fish. Adair followed him closely, learning everything she could-and admiring everything he did. Beauty had opened doors early for Adair, auburn haired haired and brandy eyed, but a quick temper had closed almost as many. To the disappointment of her mother and hailed as an escape by her father; Adair applied to and was accepted into Starfleet Academy where she accelled in sciences and every athletic venture she undertook.

She made connections. She made enemies. She came under the secretive wing of Admiral Kestrel early on, being noted for impressive wins on the chessboard-and in the fencing lanes. She was aggressive, savvy and couldn't give a rats behind what anyone thought-so long as she succeeded at whatever she tried. It would make her a good officer, that tenacious quality that drove her to ask 'what if?', and demanded her to 'find out'.

Eventually, it made her a good operative; but things were changing..who would she serve completely?
