: : : : : : : Greetings to one and all,
: : : : : : :
: : : : : : : With my wedding coming up this weekend, I shall be taking a tentative four day LOA, because, frankly, I don't really want to spend my wedding days posting :P
: : : : : : :
: : : : : : : Brian will be acting President in my absence. With Jack on an LOA and Larry also away at the wedding with me, that leaves Phil as acting Veep, next in line by seniority. If there is a disasterous emergency and people do need to get hold of me, both Brian and Jack have my number and if push comes to shove, I can be contacted through Larry from Friday-Sunday (he's one of my groomsmen).
: : : : : : :
: : : : : : : Brian, don't change the drapes while I'm gone.
: : : : : : :
: : : : : : : Andy
: : : : : :
: : : : : : This is the second STFer wedding I will be standing in within the past year. I'm starting a trend. If anyone else is getting married and wants me to be part of their wedding party, let me know. :-)

: : : : : Only if you will pay for your plane flight over to Australia and back home again Larry :) ... but no, I'm not planning on getting married any time soon ... but who knows what tomorrow will bring :)

: : : :
: : : : Annnnnnnd I'm back finally,
: : : :
: : : : Apologies to everyone for taking so long to return but we've had a heck of a few weeks
: : : :
: : : : We were in a car crash the day before the wedding
: : : : The city of Montgomery wouldn't issue the marriage licence
: : : : The priest didn't show up
: : : : There was a power cut during the reception
: : : : My sister was taken into hospital with a blood clot the day after she arrived
: : : : The wife broke her ankle in three places during the reception
: : : : We had to cancel the honeymoon
: : : :
: : : : It's still taking up a fair amount of my time caring for her because she can't really walk (she also has a torn knee and sprained shoulder) but I'm back now and catching up as quickly as I can. Hopefully I just have the Entente left to read and get up to at the moment, but I should be back in the swing fully by tomorrow afternoon. Thank you everyone for your forebearance.
: : : :
: : : : In the next week or so, i anticipate having the MOTD restrictions edict up for review as well as some new discussion points, although it looks like we have a couple starting up already. Many thanks to my cabinet and particularly Vice Presidential Bear for holding things together for me in my absence. There will be pictures of the wedding (including my star trek grooms cake that she surprised me with) as soon as we have them ready. I also know Larry went quite crazy with the camera, so I'm eager to see what he has for us.

: : : : Andy
: : :
: : : Good grief..... I know us Brits are experts at the art of farce but you didn't have to demonstrate so ably!
: : :
: : : Hugs to wife... and uh have you considered calling in a Feng Shui expert, chiming some bells about the home and burning some sage.
: : :
: : : Hopefully you've both gotten all the bad luck out of the way,
: : :
: : : Congratulations and it can only get much better from now on.
: : :
: : : Amanda
: :
: : Chiming bells about the home? They don't need that - nothing bad happened at 'home' :D
: :
: : That sounds like quite a trip you've had there! Take care of yourself and the little lady.
: :
: : But one has to wonder what acrobatics went on in the reception that she broke her ankle thusly <G>
: :
: : Gene
: :
: : PS: Oh, and welcome back :)
:
: Oh my god! LOL Now I know why Larry had to work so hard to 'save the wedding'. Hugs Andy! I hope things are settling down after all that:) Welcome back, we missed you!
: Congrats to you both and may you have many happy years together!
:
: Krys:)

It's not wise to upset the Prophets, Andy. See what they can do?

In all seriousness, I am very happy to have you back, and hope that things look up soon for the two of you. My best wishes on recovery for Mrs Wolfe.

Brian
