: : CNS Miessa turned to the CO and gave a quick salute. It was something her older brother had drilled into her though it hadn't done her much good when she tried to join the Bajoran military herself.

: : "Counselor Miessa Amari reporting for duty sir."

: Quirst was taken back for a moment, but he quickly regained his composure.

: "Counselor, it's good to finally meet you in real life. I have been reading about you and your exploits in your file." Quirst said with a smile as he extended his right hand, "Captain Peyton Quirst. Welcome aboard."

: He stood up and gestured for the Counselor to follow him into his ready room.

: "Commander, you have the Bridge."

Miessa would probably end up liking this captain. Exploits was definatly a good word to describe her actions. Three words that appeared in her file quite frequently were unconventional, sensitive, and loyal. Smiling lightly, she followed him to the readyroom and wondered if he had learned about the admiral's daughter yet.

"I'm glad to be here sir. I haven't had a chance to review all the crew files yet but I'll get there."
