Cadet: Cahir Sean

Private quarters:
"Whoo, what a day I just arrived on the USS Challenger. You know I never even left my nation, Ireland but look at me now. Space, gah how crazy is this. Back there I was just a kid whose parents thought was a computer whiz. Bloody hell wish they could see me now.

Well Im not really sure what to do next I need to report to engineering and to sick bay, but I don't know anyone here. Can't let this shyness get to me. Ok tomorrow morning I'm going to go see everyone I need to a start my duties as soon as possible. Ok Cadet Cahir Sean out.

I feel honored and privileged to take over this fine ship. I intend to make her the best ship in the Academy, if not the entire fleet. I've assembled a staff that will help me with this task, and I have full faith that in no time, we will be a force to be reckoned with. I was a graduate of the Challenger many years ago, and I find it fitting that I've been able to come full circle and lead this fine ship. She will shine again.

Well, this is to be my third and last graduation class as CO of USS Challenger. I have greatly enjoyed my year of serving in the Academy and helping three classes of new Cadets to graduate. It is a great feeling knowing that you help new members enter into a phenomenal role playing experience. I hope to one day be able to return to service in the Academy if and when my administration load is reduced again. Until then I wish the Academy and all the Cadets the best.

Well, my second class of Cadets has graduated and it is certainly a time of change. My XO, Commnader Daniel Lerner, is moving on to his own Command on USS Typhoon A. I am welcoming Commander Jim Hosick in his place. My CNS Lt. Cmdr Arun is leaving and Lt. Cmdr RJ Empson is replacing him. It will indeed be a time of adjustment for both the Cadets and I.

It really is bittersweet with me with Dan leaving. He was XO when I first joined the Challenger as CO in March 2008 and he showed me the ropes and made my first Academy command a success.

Captains Log Stardate 05100.8 : The pleasantrys of the graduation are over, we have a new crew compliment joing them was my new first officer, she seems the type to just get on with the job but time will tell what other qualities she possess's , our new counselor which already has had the chance to analyse me which im not sure if its a good or bad thing yet and our new Chief Of Secrity , im abit concerned as to how the crew will deal with his physical faults, but he seems at ease with it himself which is always a good sign.
