Bio:Joined starfleet at the tender age of 18 , although completing the course he was held back for a year due to his grades being below average. Eventually passed 8th in his class. Upon passing he joined the USS Arkansas for a year as an ensign, was noted for average security skills and below average fitness levels. Although he was noted for his willingness to learn and to eagerness, further training as a security ensign was suggested before he would be eligible to be promoted to full lieutenant. Has recently been reassigned to the USS Europa.

Dislocated right shoulder during third away mission on board the Arkansas , successfully put back in and healed.

Psyche: Mark has always been the younger brother and has had a large chip on his shoulder by having to follow in his brothers footsteps. A major event in his life was being held back for a year in the academy, this effected him physically and mentally quite badly. However his time onboard the Arkansas improved his confidence and allowed him to learn more about what it meant to be an officer. He still looks up to his brother but dislikes being comapred to him, as he sees himself as being completely different from his older brother.
