Captains Log Stardate 05100.8 : The pleasantrys of the graduation are over, we have a new crew compliment joing them was my new first officer, she seems the type to just get on with the job but time will tell what other qualities she possess's , our new counselor which already has had the chance to analyse me which im not sure if its a good or bad thing yet and our new Chief Of Secrity , im abit concerned as to how the crew will deal with his physical faults, but he seems at ease with it himself which is always a good sign. We have been ordered to Epsilon-Gamma VII where we will be aiding the SS Weaver in the mining of some rare minerals, star fleet feels the cadets will benefit from the experience , we now await until we arrive for more information.
Captain John Connor
Captains Log Stardate 05092.1 : We have arrived back at the academy, after a training mission that didn't go too well, while escorting the Uss Samarai through the mission we were ambushed by what looked like romulans they boarded the Samarai which we responded by sending an away team which my Xo was part of , upon arrivng on the ship they investigated and found that over 300 of the Samarai's crew were missing, before we could find them star fleet sent another vessel to take over the investigation, they didn't feel that the cadets were trained enough to lead the investigation although i disagreed , i thought it would do well for thier training to deal with a real situation i had no choice but to call the team back.
Upon arriving back at the academy the graduation took place where i had the honour of saying goodbye to some fine cadets that were heading off to thier new assignments, i only knew them for a short time but i got a feel for what they were about and i liked what i saw. On a downside im also saying goodbye to my Xo, CNS, CSO and CMO who also i only knew for a short time. I would have liked to have known them better but it seems that star fleet had other plans for them. I now wait for the next misson for the Challenger and her new crew, i look forward to meeting the mix of people that will come aboard.
Captain John Connor.
Captain's Log 03120.2: I have arrived. I'm a little nervous this being my first command and all, but you have to start somewhere. Though it's a training ship, training missions can be dangerous as well. I hope I can at least adequitly handle anything that might come my way as far as a command capacity goes.
Anyway. the Challenger is docked at starbase 281 awaiting orders which I will probably be informed of upon my arrival. I have a feeling that things are going to move fairly quickly. It's time to board and see what awaits.
Captain's log: Stardate 03032.8: We were contacted by Star-Fleet Command to investigate a resurgance of transphasic energy in a nearby sector. At the same time, we recieve a distress call from a private craft, the Vancouver which was caught within the energy field. From what we saw in the transmission, they seemed to be attacked by beings seen only by them. Arriving at the location, some of our crew began experiencing the same symptoms. Add this to a personal conflict between the CMO and the COS and you have a recipe for disaster
Captain's log: Stardate 02110.3: Captain Sentor recording: After assuming command of the ship, The Challenger has been chosen to participate in friendly competition with ships from the Klingon and Romulan academies. Stage one of the mission involves completing three tasks. Medical must find a harmless version of the deadly grada virus which someone on board is infected with before crewmembers start 'dying'. Engineering must re-install the ejected warp core. Science must find a way for an away team to comfortably survive on the dry planet Luaghnasa that has slightly higher radiation levels. Unofficially Security is to prepare to defend against klingon hand weapons...just in case...
Captain's log: Stardate 02040.6; We've been sent out to do a routine scan on one of the nearby nebulas, accompanied by a Klingon vessel, to act as sort of a 'cultural exchange'. It should be interesting for them, mostly for my CSO M'Bok. We've just arrived nearby the nebula and rendevoused with the Klingon ship, it's name, roughly translated is 'River of Blood' or something to that effect. It appears there has been some sort of battle in the area prior to our arrival, sensors have picked up residue from klingon weapons and there is much debris scattered in the area. Science is investigating that, and Security is investigating a report of an unauthorized transmission from our sickbay to the klingon vessel. What we've learned so far is that the records were erased on this end and all that is known is the destination. I don't like conspiracies on my ship, so once we find out who sent it, they will be dealt with harshly. Briefing recieved on the nebula from CSO and cadet Taurik, very thourough.
Captain's log: Stardate 02030.2; We're back at starbase for repairs and crew replacements for those who have graduated. I'm hopeful that they will have successful careers in whatever they choose to do with their lives. Engineering is going over the ship with a fine tooth comb, making sure everyting is as it should be. I've just spoken with Commander T'Maura, it seems my request to have her assigned here as XO was approved and accepted. I heard that one of my (former) cadets is being assigned to the Ogawa, the ship my sister is posted on. I gave her a heads up so he won't be a total stranger when he arrives. Also, I've set a meeting with Counselor LeCroix at his convienience, per his request.
Captain's log: Stardate 02021.9; We've just returned from Aibrean with the survivors of the anthropology team, It appears, for unknown reasons, that Dr. Holland had turned against his own party and had the local king convinced that all his former coworkers were witches to be disposed of. The only information that I've been able to come up with is Holland's rescue by a Romulan warship (D'deridex class I think). The underground base was left pretty much as is, but with the superstition of the locals, I don't think that they'll be poking their noses in there. Upon my return, my security people reported on their investigation of the mechanical problems we were experiencing. It was as I had originally surmised, a saboteur, or group of same actually. They were acting under orders of Admiral Cagney who it appears was not in the best of mental health. The details will follow in my mission report. On a personal note, I'm proud of how these cadets handled themselves throughout the mission. I'm confident they'll make fine additions to the fleet.
In other news, it appears that Cmdr Tanan was recalled to headquarters, leaving me without an XO. After having worked with her during the mission, I would like to request that Commander T'Maura be assigned.
Captain's log: Supplemental; Upon reaching the surface our party found the main base to be abandoned, at least a week i'm told. We've made contact with 2 members of the observation team, one of them was wounded by an arrow. I'm going to get as many of the observation team off planet as soon as able. Apparently Dr. Holland has had an accident and believes himself to be the character he was roleplaying, now he's helping the local king hunt down the rest of the observation team who have been labeled witches. I don't plan to leave Dr Holland behind, but if I have to choose between him and my ship, I choose my ship.
Captain's Log Stardate 01121.2 We've arrived at Aibrean, plagued by little malfunctions that are appearing all over the ship. My CE is keeping these under control, but we've had no idea who's doing it. Also, a Cadet was found murdered, cause of death reportedly a phaser set on stun at close range, quite fatal. I've set the away team and we are heading planetside to get the anthropology team out of there. I've left Commander Tanan in command of Challenger, since I'm leading the away team. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one with any field combat experience, if things get hairy, it could get ugly, very fast. The ion storm is arriving sooner than expected, so instead of having days to get the team out, we've only got hours.
Captain's Log Stardate 01112.8 Captain Boka recording:
We've been ordered to the planet Aibrean, located in the Neutral Zone, to pick up an anthropology team that's studying the natives there. Admiral Cagney has informed us that the Roms are aware of our mission, so we shouldnt expect any hostilities from them. Personally, i'm expecting some trouble, frankly, I don't trust Roms further than I can throw them. But we need to get in and out as quickly as possible, since in 7 days an ion storm will hit the planet, and these last for a very long time, i'm told. The transit will take 3 days, maximum warp. In addition to this, Starfleet has saddled us with Admiral Cagney, who's along for the ride, but turns out to be an old friend of the leader of the previously mentioned anthropology team. We've recently left starbase at warp but now we are traveling at sublight, due to what appears to be a malfunction. My CE assures me that everything was working when we left the base, but he's checking it out, just in case.
Captain's Log, Stardate 01110.8, Captain Boka Jakob recording
I've just assumed command of Challenger, seeking my first officer. Will have to schedule a meet and greet with all DH's. Current ship's status, unknown. But on a personal note, she looks like a fine vessel.
Captain's Log, Stardate 01071.6, Captain David Yim recording,
We have received a distress call from the archaelogical colony before we can pick up any supply from the starbase. Upon arriving the colony, I have dispatched an away team, lead by my XO, ti
the surface. It seems that most of the colonists is dead, cause of death unknown. Furthermore, there are several reports of hallucination from the crew.
Captain's Log, Stardate 01061.1, Captain David Yim recording,
I have assumed command of the USS Challenger, it feels good to come back to this ship. This is the third time that I served on the Challenger and I hope that I would not let the crew down.
Captians Log, Stardate 01022.8, Captian Logan Recording.
Things are not going as well as hoped, We still have not heard from the first away team, and the shuttle I sent to look for them is coming back to the ship with no signs of the first team being found. The Challenger is being hounded by all kinds of technical difficulitys, all of which are at this time, unresolved.
The Challenger has been surrounded by 9 unknown ships that have just hailed us. I am hopefully going to start to find out just what exactly is going on.
We beamed up 4 aliens from the disabled ship, unfortunaly one of them has passed on due to an unknown reason. the others are not being very cooperative.
With any kind of luck, we will be getting to the bottom of all this soon.
Captians Log, Stardate 01012.0, Captian Logan Recording
I have assumed Command of the U.S.S Challenger, Right now I am about to meet my my Xo to be brought up to speed as to what is going on, and from there, well, Lets just see how things go.
Captain's log, Stardate 00091.3, Captain Okko tom Brook recording
The Challenger has arrived at the Tsius system, where we have been ordered by Admiral William. We are required to do some standard survey scans on the system, which hasn't been touched by Star-Fleet for about two hundred years. Dropping out of warp, we found the United Earth Ship Terra hanging dead in space, an artefact from the past and the last ship from Earth that explored this section of space. The ship seems undamaged, I have ordered an away team to beam over. On a sidenote, several crewmembers are reported having passed out without any apparent reason, the situation isn't alarming yet, but I hope we don't have to face anything serious here.
Captain's Log, Stardate 00082.3, Captain Okko tom Brook recording
By order of Admiral D. Morgan I have assumed command of the USS Challenger, which currently is docked at Earth Station McKinley, undergoing repairs. The crew has been granted shore leave while I meet with the Department Heads. After the death of former XO Commander Sinead Doyle I have decided to give this position to CMO Lieutenant Charlotte Swann, along with a promotion to Commander. After some other shiftings, my senior crew is consisted as follows: COS: Lt. Richard Sharpe. CNS: Lt. Cmdr. Mick Godfrey. CMO: Lt. Skoorb Htrag. CE: Lt. j.g. Michael Blasdel. CSO: Lt. j.g. Doug Zax. We are expecting our new orders at any time now, as the repairs are nearly completed.
Captain's Log Supplemental SD 00072.3
The Challenger has been through quite a bit over the last little while, after dropping our away teams off at Erreus III we followed the vessel which destroyed the Wyvern to Devon IV. The planet is now vacant, and the vessel powering weapons. We've picked up two crew that were found on the Wyvern, both which are in Sickbay and slowly recovering. I've begun questioning the vulcan, but as I can see this mission is far from over. The crew seems to be handling the situation well and I'm proud of them all, we've worked too hard to give up now.
Captain's Log, stardate 00042.5, Captain Lynn Janeway recording
I've obtained command of the USS Challenger, and layed in our course to the Erreus System. Once we reach the M-class planet our orders are to survey the colonists and help them settle where they will fortunatly not have to move for a fourth time. Our mission specialist Lt. Commander Stuart Coll has briefed the senior staff of our mission outline, and cautioned us on the colonists sensitivity. I get the feeling that they will be more difficult to work with that we orginialy expected, but I'm sure with confidence and high spirits we will be able to succeed at whatever task lay ahead.
Captain's Log, stardate 99102.3, Captain Harabec Weathers recording
I have assumed command over the Challenger at this time, We have moved away from the Space station and are moving on to the mission at hand. Former Captain Victor Dale was relived from duty as we stopped at the station for resupply and the relief of a temporary cargo. Namely two ferengi.
From what I have gathered so far, the Challenger is supposed to drop off a diplomatic delegation at the homeplanet of the Karn-T'ath , also serving as a diplomatic gift. the prisoner Seth is to be turned over to the Karn-T'ath Authorities.
Captain's Log, stardate 99102.3, Captain Victor Dale recording
We have been successful in fixing the vaccine errors for the Tyrian Flu and have provided it to the talarians. At this time the medical staff is trying to adapt the vaccine so that it might be used to cure Cdr Bishop.
On another note, the Challenger-A has maneuvered to the station at my request to try to fix the power core so that the station might be salvaged. Now that the breen vessels have left the area, we will offer what assistance we can to the Challenger-A.
Captain's Log, stardate 99080.1, Captain Victor Dale recording
By order of Starfleet Command, I have assumed command of the USS Challenger, the previous captain of which was lost in the line of duty. We're investigating Medical Outpost 12, where there is presently an away team in place. We additionally are dealing with a ship that purports to be the USS Challenger-A. Coming in mid-mission is quite disorienting, but Starfleet apparently feels that I am capable of handling the situation. End log.
Captain's Log Supplemental
We have been ordered to Medical Outpost 12 by starfleet command. I must admit, our data banks have very little information on the outpost but command believes something unusual is going on at the station. We have been dispatched to investigate.
Captain Robert Mich Wollin, Star Date 02070.6: We have just recieve our mission from Admiral Beckett. We are to delivering dilithium ore to a vulcan colony. Admiral Beckett called a 'Nice easy run.' The delivery is be held in cargo bays two and three.
Asside from this there is not much more to report at this time. The the cerimony of christening the ship went without a major hitch. For the record the exsact vintage of the wine bottle used for the cerimony was 2335 Californa brand called Gallo of Sonoma Merlot Reserva. Present at the cerimony was Lt. Cmdr. Chris LaCroix, CNS for the Challenger, Commander T'Maura, XO for the Challenger, and myself.
Next, Im waiting on a report of the activitys of my CE, who took a weeks worth of leave to explore the region around OP45 for personal reasons.
On a final Note, Ensign Beecher has finaly delivered a cup of coffee to the Ready room without spilling it.
