: : : : : : : : M'raan had been the one to recommend sending an away team to the station originally. He would not willingly leave without completing the mission, which was to identify the station's builders. It would be unproductive to argue that with Lt. Eagle. He would wait to see what developed. The Captain's decision could change by the time Henry managed to shut down the power-draining beam.
: : : : : : : :
: : : : : : : : He said,"Assuming the station is stealing energy from the Victorious to 'awaken', how much more will it need? Can you identify a console or a display to tell us its power level?"
: : : : : : : :
: : : : : : : : Lt.j.g. M'raan, tactical
: : : : : : :
: : : : : : : The funnel appeared to be a holding tank which contained - well, it was full of the luminous goo that was the lighting source and the potential power source of the station.
: : : : : : :
: : : : : : : Further 'scans' would indicate that the faceless consoles around the funnel had little to no circuitry, however it did have 'veins' in it that were in appearance similar to data feeds, cabling and the like.

: : : : : :
: : : : : : !The goo is clearly the power distribution. It's a bit like the way plasma works on a starship but it appears to be more like blood than that. Going back too our earlier thory, doctor can you detect any sort of life signs?"
: : : : : :
: : : : : : He walked around and did another scan. He stopped and said "Mraan I think you should see this, I think this is some sort of console. He pressed it and said 'display power levels on this station'" it worked with the 'lifts' so why would it not work with the screen.

: : : : :
: : : : : As Henry pressed the 'console' there was a flurry of movement on the console as something under the skin moved. Green lettering and what looked like a graphic curve appeared.
: : : : :
: : : : : While uncertain, the curve looked to be about midland ..

M'raan looked at the display on the console. It made no sense to him, but was obviously a response to Henry's request. He said,"I think we need to be more specific when we ask for information. Whether the station is using some sort of translator, or even if it is telepathically responding to our desires, it has limits."

: : : : James was still quietly exploring, tricorder in hand. "Which way to the bridge so we can get the data and get out?" he asked.
: : : :
: : : : Lt. Eagle COS
: : :
: : : "I'm not sure sir." Replied Henry "Although I believe that this room is what we would know as Main Engineering on a starship and furthermore I believe that this console is a direct interface with the main computer, however, I am unsure what the letters mean or the graph actually mean. If it was a Stafleet starbase and I saw this it would indicate that the base was at approximately 50-60% operational power wise. However, I would not like to guess without knowing what the words mean. If I am correct though maybe..."
: : :
: : : He pressed his comm badge =/\=Lt Patnick to Ensign Dillingham. Andrew can you have a look at the ship's readings and let me know if you think it would be safe to attempt a power transfer? I believe if we can power up the station fully, maybe we can get some answers.=/\=

: :
: : The closest thing that may have 'looked' like a control area or bridge was up several levels in the central area. It was an 'open' concept with the concentric rings with the inner 'ring' being what looked like circular work stations facing out along the inside of the 'wall' and above it other curved panels. There was a slightly larger 'inner glow' to that area, however nobody had checked it out but only saw it from the distance.
: :
: : After noting it they had striven to work out the nature of the round platforms that were personal transport devices and once discovering that had come down to this level.

:
: =/\=Dillingham to patnick, I believe that if we transfer enough power to the deflector dish then the beam will automatically be attracted to it and theoretically it should give off enough power to power up the station without any detrimental effects to the Vicky.=/\=
