: Firstly, there isn't such thing as a DH Cadet. All DHs should be experienced enough to be a DH (perhaps with a little bit of coaching from the CO/XO) - it is no longer a training slot. If you mean a DH that has recently graduated then that is an option. My thoughts behind picking a cadet is that there is usually at least one cadet that is a strong RPer and it also allows cadets to take ownership of something outside the confines of the ship (I do think we perhaps limit them too much).

Yes, I was speaking of recently graduated DH Cadet:) I guess they are not technically Cadets then.:) We could leave it up to the CO's discretion on who they ask to do the newsletter. The CO could then ask who he feels would be most suitable either a strong Cadet or DH Cadet.
