Commander Thora Stanton,
We've located the Stanley and are commencing rescue operations, what still remains to be answered is what transpired over there.
The Captain is still in sickbay, along with the Counsellor and now the Chief Engineer. From what we can tell, it appears to be a series of unfortunate events, but I hope it stops and soon. When I make contact with the away team again, I shall inform Cadet Van Zilen that he will be acting Chief Engineer until we get out of this.

He sees the 2 Admirals arguing in the hall way and heads the other direction hoping he was not seen. Cadet makes it back to the sick bay and sneaks quietly into in bio bed everything is a hussel all of the activity in the Med section. Cadet Odien requests he be released as he is better. Also there was no meat served on the Planet just nut, fruits and berries and such. It was suspected he had foor poising from meat but thats im possible as there was none to be had.

Captain Jordan Jansen reporting
We have just left Freedom VI and are on the return to Earth. Together with the Admirals and the away team, we have taken on board Doctor Hoffer and his device.
The two admirals and Doctor Hoffer have refused to provide any details about the device, and have essentially told me to follow instructions and not to ask questions.
I am uneasy about this, but Commander Stanton seems unphased. Commander Stanton and the Cadets have received praise from Admiral Grieb and Doctor Hoffer for their actions on Freedom VI.

Captain Jordan Jansen Reporting
I have as of this date taken command of the USS Columbia, replacing Captain Adrian Kayne who has been reassigned. In addition to him, ship's counselor John-King Mackenzie has been ordered back to Star Fleet Command to debrief before possible reassignment. I have permitted him to remain until his replacement arrives. Star Fleet Personnel are still looking for a suitable replacement for him.
