WeBBSpace is to be upgraded in the coming months to the next version of its core software after this there will be changes implemented to the way posts are created. There will no longer be just a location field but a location and activity field that will work in the format:


Location - Activity


This makes it easier for archiving purposes and for viewing as well! This "ammendment" of sorts to what was previously released to Fleet 1 CO's is that posts can be made in the form of


1) Location


or


2) Location - Activity


The "Location" field is only to contain a physical location; e.g. "Bridge", "Captain's Ready Room", "Quarters: Joe Bloggs".


The "Activity" field is only to contain an In Character activity; e.g. "Joe Blogg's Physical", "Medical Emergency", "Graduation Ceremony".


So with this in mind, examples of the correct format are;


Sickbay - Joe Blogg's Physical
Counselor's Office - Cadet Smith's Evaluation
CO's Ready Room - Disciplining Lt. Marius
Cargo Bay 1
Transporter Room 2
Planet's Surface - Cultural Research


This allows us to prepare for the implementation of the Activity field in a few month's time and provides us with more flexibility on the previous location policy in that we can have more than just a physical location.
