History of the USS Aztec
| The original USS Aztec (USS-89725) was a Visigoth class ship. It was destroyed at about stardate 02021.0 in an encounter with renegade Romulans. | The brand new Phoenix class ship, the USS Asten, was re-christened the USS Aztec (NCC-89725-A). | An onboard accident caused the second ship to sustain heavy damage. Brandon Irvine to be new CE Last Update 13 June 2011 (Stardate 11061.1)
Brandon Irvine, aCO for the Victorious has consented to be our new CE. I will update the roster and MOTD as soon as he gives me his character details!
We thank Michele for serving as CE up till now. Due to her RL commitments, she finds it difficult to post so frequently. She remains with us as a security officer, Lt. Nalla Caraway. Tyra remains as our CMO but her character will be that of the Vickie's XO.

Aztec and Victorius to be merged: Last Update 28 Mar 2011 (Stardate 11032.8)

Based on the recommendation of FComm 1, the crew of the USS Victorious will be merged with the USS Aztec. The USS Aztec will remain commissioned, whilst the USS Victorious will be decommissioned.
My thanks go to Amanda and Kenson for working out the dynamics of this merger. Hopefully this will provide a new lease of life on the USS Aztec.
As there is a mission finishing on the Victorious, this edict will take effect on 2 Apr 11, prior to the end of this term. This should give the GM and crew sufficient time to wind things up.

Let us welcome our new crewmates when they join us. While it is sad to see a ship decommissioned, hopefully the role-playing environment will be enhanced.
