President Robinson has recently issued Edict #19, authorising my assignment as CO of the Lexington.. I feel honoured to be given this position after the work I put in reviving the ship!! We shall embark on new voyages and missions... . but first Joe Bradley gets the honor of running a shakedown mission.

I shall be appointing the new XO soon.. .. but for now, its "hushed" up and not for public consumption!

As Acting CO, I made the sad decision earlier this week to relieve Robert M. Michaud from the capacity of GM aboard the Lexington.. The mission was not falling into place and whilst such a move isn't one I enjoy making, it was necessary under the circumstances.

Joseph Bradley has been appointed to the position and will be providing his comments here soon.

Whilst in orbit of the Planet Qualum, the USS Lexington's Commanding Officer, Captain Jason Y. Lee was taken ill and newly-appointed First Officer, Commander James Evans assumed Acting Command of the vessel taking her out of the planet's orbit and away at a safe-distance.

The Vessel had taken a beating, one crew-member dead, unauthorised and unexplainable beam-in's, Nanites boarding the ship and assuming Holodeck Control.

Soon after, Commander Suvar boarded with orders to assume permanent command of the ship as ordered by STAR-FLEET Command. These orders were adhered to and the crew began at the Commander's request to re-approach the planet.

In unexpected circumstances, Suvar was taken ill and by default and STAR-FLEET Order, Commander Evans once again assumed Acting Command. Exercising authority as Acting CO, James opted not to return to the planet and instead to file a report with STAR-FLEET and continue on their voyager of exploration.

We're at the end of the mission now, so crew evaluations are in order.. Perhaps you could come up with a side-sim for the crew?

As we're at the end of the mission right now, continue treating Commander Suvar and report to me with your diagnosis of his situation. Conduct crew physicals and chase up those who haven't reported yet.. including your XO!

We're wrapping up loose-ends right now so side-simming with the Science JO's is prescribed courtesy of your XO!

Begin repairs to the Holodeck and ensure that those Nanites aren't lurking elsewhere on the ship.

The Side-Sim on the Holodeck is going well, at this point my advice is to work with the new COS on perhaps joininig in on a side-sim.

As we are at the end of the mission, I would like to see a side-sim taking place between the CIO and COS.. . I leave the minor details, to your Tactical Minds!
