The original USS Aztec (USS-89725) was a Visigoth class ship. It was destroyed at about stardate 02021.0 in an encounter with renegade Romulans. A brand new Phoenix class ship, the USS Asten, was re-christened the USS Aztec (NCC-89725-A). An onboard accident caused the second ship to sustain heavy damage. Unseen MOTD Changes : Last Update: 5 October 2007 (StarDate 07100.5)
There has been some changes to the Subject (or Topic) dropdown Menu. It has been changed to reflect the Deck Layout for the Victoria Class. Now, there are Deck Numbers beside the applicable areas. I learnt this from the USS Maverick, which is now the USS Rogue in Fleet 2.
Please note the following points:
- Holosuites are smaller holodecks for one or two people.
- The Mess Hall is actually the Four-Fore Lounge, the Victoria class' version of Ten-Forward.
- Security and the Brig are not reflected in the Standard Deck Layouts. For the Aztec, they are on Deck 6.
- The Standard Deck Layouts do not tell us where we can meet the Counselor. I have decided to make some room for the Counselor on Deck 4.
- You will notice that there are almost no offices on the list. Actually, the CMO's office is at Sickbay. The CE's office is in Main Engineering. The CSO's Office should be where all the science labs are. Thus, I left them out. If you insist on having an office, please add in the right decks. If you need help, you can mail me.
- Senior Officers' Quarters are all on Deck 2. I have added them to the Subject menu.
- Junior Officers' Crew Quarters are spread out between Decks 5 and 9. Please indicate the Deck Number should you want to create your quarters under a new topic.
- Remember that the Victoria class is a small ship with only 13 decks
