I would say please welcome our new XO, but you know her already. :-) Thank you to Sarah Hemenway who will be stepping up as Alliance XO. Since we're in the middle of the mission, she will be continuing on as CMO for the time being as well, and just be XO OOC. We'll sort it all out at the end of the mission.

Our efforts to infiltrate the station have met with obsticals. The Aldi team has not reported in, but that is to be expected. However, the team we attempted to transport to the surface was interrupted in mid-transport. As of yet we have been unable to determine if they were directed elsewhere or if their beam was scattered and their patterns lost. Our attempts to locate them, however, tripped computer security routines on Lithos station resulting in a total transporter blackout and a brief stand-off when we were targeted by its weapons systems. The situation has been diffused and we are continuing cargo transport via cargo pods. Since that will significantly lengthen our time at the station, I consider the results satisfactory with the exception of the unknown fate of our away team.

A Federation Starship is called to ferry the Balmorian Princess from Balmore to its sister planet Flogan. The Treaty of Malcor is a 10,000 yr old treaty that was conceived to seal the peace between the two. The children bonded in the Treaty are descendants of the ruling houses. It has now become an engrained custom and is part of both planets cultural heritage.

The Federation Ship will be joined by two escort Balmore ships. The Princess will also have an entourage of 4 aboard ship. 2 guards and 2 ladies in waiting.
