Reeling from the departure of her husband, Symon, Jira Silvester needs to bring the Starfleet officers remaining into a unified group and take stock of the situation facing the colony. Her command skills will be put to the test as she is now the ranking officer on Oed V and she is named Interim Acting Governor.
A Civilian Engineer and his son, having travelled through Vren space, are being held on the orbital platform in a cell. The son is getting angrier by the second, and could blow at any instant. Into this mix is a Cardassian kid, telling of a tale of being an orphan.

Oed V Awards - These awards are a tribute to the many talented RPers who have graced Oed V over the years.

Oed V Places of Interestt,

Oed V has many locations that are unique to the planet and set it apart from the ships and starbases of the Federation. Here is a brief run down on some of them.
Sacred Heart Hospital - Our version of the sickbay or infirmary. It is jointly run by Starfleet and Civilian interests. Looks after all on Oed V and also hosts our Counsellors.
Government Building - the Administrative hub of the colony, it houses the offices of the Governor, Lt Governor, Mayor, Fleet Command, Starfleet R&D and the Federation Science Council, as well as having Council Chambers and meeting rooms.
Rabbitus Memorial School - School for all in the community, from the youngest to the oldest. Science is based from here.
Starport - All arrivals pass through its gates and all departures leave through its gates. In its upper floor, it houses the Starfleet Engineering complex.
Customs - This building houses Starfleet Security and Oed V Customs, it is attached to the Starport.
Commercial District - Featuring shops, hotels, eateries, pedestrian malls, commercial office space and a casino, this is the financial hub for the colony. Local Companies: AIM and Green Corp.
Twilights End is a gift shop where you can buy something special for that someone special.
Galen's Haberdashery is run by Galen, a Cardassian tailor, who can make you what you need at the right place.
Emergency Services Complex - Home to our Police, Ambulance and Fire Departments, this looks after all civilian areas around the colony.
Residential District - This area has the housing for the civilians on Oed V, as well as for Starfleet officers who have family with them or who desire something outside of the accommodation offered by Starfleet.
