Alright folks it is that time again, time for yet another presidential election! As the election coordinator it is my pleasure to announce the election schedule for this upcoming election. All times are listed in Eastern Time.
Election Schedule:
Nominations Open - 3/8/13 - 0000 HRS
Nominations Close - 3/14/13 - 2359 HRS
Primary Opens - 3/22/13 - 0000 HRS
Primary Closes - 3/28/13 - 2359 HRS
Secondary Opens - 3/29/13 - 0000 HRS
Voting Close - 4/4/13 - 2359 HRS
Election Turnover (IRC) - 4/6/13 - 1500 HRS

Want to do more for the club? Well, there's some open positions being advertised in Command - as of now we need FComm-4, -5, and -6, and the Academy needs an AFLO. The details are in Command - what are you waiting for?

As some of you may know by now, Joe P has sent me his resignation from the role of Vice-President and also Fleet Commander - 6. If anyone would be interested in either of those vacancies could they please send me an email. Please try to include previous experiance and how you intend to work within the role.

Just a reminder that SciWorld 2013 is this week! Details can be found here: www.sciworldonline.com and expect IRC chat room info to go up likely today. If you look at the schedule, you'll see we're on it! Myself, along with some awesome volunteers will be running two sessions.
Come out and join in those and other sessions and get to meet and interact with roleplayers from lots of different groups!

SciWorld is a convention of roleplayers with various clubs/sims running sessions in IRC. Folks may remember SciWorld last year because it was the first time we had attended in some time. Previously, STF had actually led a session. Last year, it was one of my goals to work on club PR and get us back out into the Simming Community. SciWorld is a great place for that!
I'm pleased to announce that not only is it running again this year, but we get to participate in it by running a couple of sessions.

After a wave of impressive applications I have decided upon my cabinet for this term.
Jack Dipper is appointed as Fleet Commander, Fleet 1.
Kat Dedul is retained as Fleet Commander, Fleet 2.
Matthew Kleinman is retained as Fleet Commander, Fleet 3.
Jim Hosick is appointed as Fleet Commander, Fleet 4.
Chris Grinder is appointed as Fleet Commander, Fleet 5.
Joe P is appointed as Fleet Commander, Fleet 6.
Steve Johnson is appointed as Academy Commandant.
Helen Hosick is appointed as Personnel Director.
Cabinet Applications
I will only be considering Cabinet applications until midnight on the 13th and will be announcing my selections on the 14th. So if you are considering applying please submit your interest in the form of an application to the executive email address.
