SnipAfter a moment the warm and kind face of the station commander popped up on the screen. “Oh Challenger! You are here,” the man says bubbling over with excitement. “We have a reception planned for you all, if you want to come over! Bring your cadets. Oh and have them dress nicely, hmm?” He titters like a busy bee, “Oh and have the box delivered to cargo bay one. My men will take it from there.”

Surra interjected, “Sir....we would like to know what is in the box or what it is for.”

“Indeed,” Max said stepping onto the bridge. He was a bit irked that he hadn’t been called as soon as they arrived at the starbase.
“Sir, when would you like us to have our Cadets at the reception?” Moving around the bridge he stepped down to the center.

Gordon stood up from the command chair and moved off towards his engineering station. Seeing as he had been relieved.

Stepping onto the bridge, Obiah noted they had arrived at a science station, from the looks of it. Silently, the doctor stood to the back, watching the interaction between the two officers.

CMOThe elder scientist turned station commander lets out a warm and mirthful laugh, looking more like Santa Claus than any thing as his eyes sparkle and his belly jiggles on the screen. “Oh no no no. You’ll find out soon enough.”
He pauses then booms out a deep laugh again shaking his head in disbelief. “Oh you all are going to be so irked.”

Starr was also not a fan of surprises, he had been trained to know about as much as possible. He did think to himself, however that if it came from Starfleet, it couldn’t be THAT dangerous, could it?
