Lillian could not believe what was going on around her. Lillian Knew that CoS was trying to get more information from there captor.
Lillian was working on get the vines to loosen on her arms but that was not going well.
It was the strangest thing the people where plant hybrids
“we could take your people back to there world we did not know you where self aware” Lillian hoped that this would keep them talking and give the CoS a chance to formulate a plan to get them out of here.

Nijix coughed. The air rushed into and burned her lungs slightly, her arm moving enough to allow her to press the combadge. Everything the woman said would be easily heard by everyone else. She listened to the woman monologue, letting her continue without interruption. When ‘Sammi’ became upset, Nijix was reminded of a small shrub that rattled its leaves. It would’ve been amusing if she hadn’t been restrained by them earlier.

She had been about to say something when Lillian took the chance. Her eyes darted around the cargo bay to see what exactly was in here. Nijix risked a look at Lillian, silently asking her to keep the plant talking with it.

OOC: Bumping this for Geoff

“Well that is the problem isn’t it? Don’t you think we tried that?” Sammi snapped at Anderson. “The problem is when we left we were little more than spores. We have never been introduced to creatures with such higher brain functions. This ability to speak, and have names, and emotions beyond which creature to feed from next is foreign to us. We had no notion of being able to leave our forest much less our planet.” The plant woman shuddered, “We don’t know what our home planet is called and your captain is either unwilling or unable to tell us. Do you not think we haven’t tried to get the memory from every person we have bonded with? No. You took us away from a home we cannot return to so you will help us find a new home. Oh wait. We found one. Right here.”

About that time the door to the cargo bay hissed open and the XO was led in by a small girl, definitely more human looking than the others; perhaps earlier in her metamorphosis. She gave a brief nod to Sammi and waved a small hand towards the man. “Apparently this one can speak for the captain.”

GM Wombat

As Max followed her in, he looked around the room. He of course spotted both Nijix and Anderson. Hopefully they were still in good shape, even if they were being held upside down.

Nijix’s eyes turned to the doors. When she spotted the XO, concern spread from her core to mind. It took everything she had not to struggle and try to break free. Negotiations were a failure so far. Being held upside and tied up, she could only watch things unfold.

Lillian was relieved to see the XO coming throw the main cargo bay doors but she was not sure if trying to Negotiate with them as a good idea while they had 2 hostages.
“Sir, they wish to go home, if we can locate there home planet in the files we can end this” Lillian advised the XO as he entered.
Lillian could feel all the blood settled in her head and was starting to feel sick.

Lillian wonder how a small girl could help in this situation.

“Thank you Cadet,” Max said as he took a step forward.

“We want to help you find your way home. I have people looking through this ships computer, while we talk to our superiors to find out where you might have come from. These two,” he said gesturing towards Nijix and Anderson, “could help us speed up the process. If you are willing to let them go for now. They wouldn’t leave this ship, but they can help look through it’s computer to find out what happened.”

Cmdr. Harkness - XO

Max hated the part of negotiation where they stood around in silence. He was used to action, and the waiting part always got to him.

“Perhaps we can offer you something else. We just want the opportunity to make this right for you, and get the rest of this crew out of the way, so that they could not harm you any further.”

Cmdr. Harkness - XO

Sammi looked at Harkness for a long time before looking to the cadet and the COS. “Disarm them and throw their weapons over there,” she said motioning to the other side of the room. “Any aggressive actions and I will see their skulls crushed like shernuts.”

She looked outside and suddenly shivered before motioning to Flotsam and Jetsam, “Find out why the children are complaining of the cold. If one of the crew escaped and is trying to get rid of us, again, infest him.”

GM Wombat

“Of course,” Max said as he walked over towards Lillian and Nijix. He carefully removed their phasers, and the phaser rifles. And took them towards where she had indicated.

Lillian was a bit annoyed at being relieved of her weapons but could understand why the creature had ask for it to be done.

=^= Captain. I have made contact with their leader. She is sending someone to investigate why it is getting cold in here. =^=

Cmdr. Harkness - XO

=/\= Acknowledged. Davis out. =/\=

Davis, CO (crosspost)

Lillian was starting to feel better now that the vines where lest tight. It was annoying that she was under treat of here head being crushed.
“Thank you” Lillian looked to the plants people leader.
“Sir where would you like me to start looking for the information about where those people are from?” Lillian was asking in hopes that there would be a way for the XO to help her understand the larger situation with out giving anything away to the Plant people in the room.
Lillian was sure from the conversation between the XO and the captain about the weather was a way of warring anyone that may have been working on the environmental controls to get out of the area but she gave no indirection she suspected anything. other than be happy to be up the right way again.

Nijix hated the lightheadedness. The blood continued to flow to her head and left a queasy sensation in her stomach. Somehow she managed to keep her meal down, but couldn’t logic out how. For the best likely. As the XO and their captor spoke, the CoS patiently observed. Negotiations were difficult when the hostages irritated the hostile. Her anxiety relaxed when their ‘transformation’ had been delayed.

Her eyes shifted to Anderson when she mentioned about location. Nijix suspected a hidden code, but she made no comment. Sometimes it was better to allow Cadets to follow their own instinct for better or worse.
