The Chief Engineer’s voice came back. =^= It’s just me here, Challenger. I’ll lockout the systems and try to escape. I’m not sure if I can hold Engineering on my own.=^=

Keval’s voice came back on five minutes later. =^= Vras to Challenger. I’ve escaped from Engineering. I’ll head to Sickbay and see what I can do to get the crew members transported out. I’m fine if it gets colder, even if my suit gets compromised, but I’m not sure about everyone else on the ship. I won’t be able to monitor the environmental systems anymore. =^=

Emmy let out her breath out, not having realized she was holding it in between the comm calls from the Chief Engineer. It finally seemed like they were making some progress.
=/\= Understood, Lieutenant. Report in on the status of Sickbay once you make it there. We will monitor bio signs and suit status from here and transport anyone out if needed. Challenger out. =/\=
Turning to her trusty set of cadets and officers on the bridge, she ordered, “actively monitor the status of the Challenger crew on board the Potterfield. With the new atmospheric conditions, we will need to be prepared to transport anyone out who suffers ill effects.”

Shortly there after, the transporter room was able to get the three back from the Potterfield and signaled as much to the bridge.

Emmy’s eyebrows furrowed slightly as Harkness’ order came over the communication system. She wasn’t a fan of waiting for explanations. A brief nod to the cadet on the bridge acknowledged that they should be transported on board. She rocked her weight forward as if to stand, thinking she would meet Harkness in the Transporter Room, but she forced herself to sit back in her chair to await his arrival on the bridge. She would get the explanation soon enough.

Temporal onset of initial symptoms can vary, and since the only warning signs are temperament changes, the infection can be difficult to diagnose at first. Has the source has been eliminated? =^=

=^= Harkness to the Bridge. We are still waiting to get the all clear from the bioscans. But we are able to beam out the remaining Potterfield crew at any time. We’ve come to a tentative agreement with the entity that has taken over the Potterfield. They have agreed to give us back the Potterfield, but we need to help find them a new home where they won’t be disturbed. =^=
