A few moments later a different voice chirped in: =/\= Inbound in T- minus five minutes and counting, sir.=/\=

=^= It’s just me here, Challenger. I’ll lockout the systems and try to escape. I’m not sure if I can hold Engineering on my own.=^=

Keval set up an encryption on the ship’s environmental systems. He wasn’t sure what the aliens’ capabilities were, but he hoped it was enough. He then used his remaining time to use his tricorder to scan for the coldest areas near and around Engineering, and to look for cover.

About five minutes later, sure enough the two sent to deal with Vras dropped from the roof and began sniffing around, looking for the CE

GM Wombat

OOC: Bad timing on my part with posting my reply. Was my character able to find an escape route from Engineering, or is he stuck? My character’s response will definitely differ depending on whether he can escape or not.

-Lt. Keval Vras, CE

Vras was able to find an escape route from engineering. One of the tubes was relatively free from life and since the cold front moved through the activity that was there seemed to slow down. From the plans Vras could easily get to Sickbay, or another hallway near by with probably little resistance.

GM Wombat

Keval activated his suit’s communicator. =^= Vras to Challenger. I’ve escaped from Engineering. I’ll head to Sickbay and see what I can do to get the crew members transported out. I’m fine if it gets colder, even if my suit gets compromised, but I’m not sure about everyone else on the ship. I won’t be able to monitor the environmental systems anymore. =^=

Keval then started to head towards Sickbay, using his tricorder to make sure he favoured the colder passages.

-Lt. Keval Vras, CE

=/\= Understood, Lieutenant. Report in on the status of Sickbay once you make it there. We will monitor bio signs and suit status from here and transport anyone out if needed. Challenger out. =/\=

Davis, CO (crosspost)

=^= Harkness to Vras. Reset the environmental systems back to where they were when we arrived on the ship, and then head back to the Challenger. Harkness out. =^=

Cmdr. Harkness - XO (crosspost)

OOC: I want to give Dan a chance to get back from LOA and catch up before I blast him with too much more information.

Geoff

OOC: He’s going to hate you all for making him crawl back through those tubes…

Keval paused on his way to Sickbay. “Okay, universe, you win. Can you know reveal why I am literally doing a complete circle?”

Keval turned around and started heading back exactly where he came from. He hoped someone would actually give him an explanation soon…

-Lt. Keval Vras, CE

OOC: Bump for the XO

=^= Harkness to Vras. Do you have an update on getting the environmental systems reset? I would like to get you back to the Challenger ASAP. =^=

Cmdr. Harkness - XO

Kevas has just arrived back at the terminal he was using to change the environmental systems. =^= Working on it, Commander. It’s just a matter of undoing the very lockouts I put in to keep anyone from accessing the systems… =^=

The Andorian started reversing the lock outs he had set up just a short while ago. When he was finally able to access the environmental systems themselves, he set the system to return to the original settings he had found the ship in.

=/\= Vras to Challenger. Environmental systems are now returning to what we found them in. I don’t want to risk blowing the compromised power grid, so I’m keeping just a standard amount of power to the systems. It will take a bit longer to return to the high temperature and humidity settings. But unless anyone starts messing around more with the ship’s power, the process should run its course. =^=

-Lt. Keval Vras, CE
