Emmy allowed the murmurs of congratulations to move on for a few moments before she began moving through the list of cadets who were graduating from the Academy. Each took their turn coming forward to receive their new Ensign pips. Finally, she reached the last cadet.

“Cadet Anderson, please come forward.”

Max smiled as the Captain called up Cadet Anderson. Definitely another well earned promotion, and hopefully she ended up with a good posting after her graduation.

Lillian had made her self almost invisible as she was not sure how to act was it a party or a ceremony. Lillian had watch as the many promotions where handed out.
she congratulated the new officers as they walked passed her as she heard her name called and she made her way forward to Commander Harkness .

Tija returned the congratulations with a small, yet gentle smile.

“Congratulations, Ensign, on your graduation from Starfleet Academy. You have been placed on the USS Asimov for your first duty station,” Emmy murmured, mostly to Anderson as she pinned the ensign pips on the young woman. Once her task was complete, she acknowledged the assembled crowd. “Thank you for your attention. Please enjoy the festivities.” Her formal role complete, she nodded at Anderson to dismiss her and began to make her way out of the room.

Davis, CO

Max came up behind Lillian.

“Congrats Ensign. Definitely well earned.”

Cmdr. Harkness - XO

Garth watched Captain Davis leave with a spark of jealously, as his detour to the refreshment table had put him on the other side of the room from the exit, and now everyone was milling about in such a way that the crowd would be difficult to navigate. He grunted in dissatisfaction and resolved to placate himself with finger food while he waited for the opportunity to bolt.
