As Rabb goes to the turbo lift he says deck 2 and ends up going to the mess hall and realizes that the chief of security isn’t there. As he goes and reaches for his combadge he says “Rabb to Chief of Security. Do you mind telling me where you are? I ended up getting lost again.” As he sits down in a chair and has something to drink.Cadet - Rabb Security
OOC: I will warn you now, Nijix (my character, not me) will be so annoyed by this and will likely make him do about 20 laps after the check in. From his quarters to her office, just to make sure he remembers the path. Me, found this funny. I would suggest next time to simply assume your character knows the way as asking your superior for directions… never ends well, lol.
Another note, when people use the combadge they usually =^= or =/ \= on either side of the dialogue. It makes it stick and people understand they can reply to it in either the same thread or others. In this case, Nijix and Rabb are in two different deck locations.
IC: Nijix had just settled in to wait for Cadet Rabb to arrive when combadge went off. She pressed it to receive the cadet’s plead for help and admittance of his misdirection. Her lips frowned as she took a cleansing breath. This was a terrible start to an interview, she noted.

Keeping her thoughts to herself, she briskly stepped out and waited in the corridor outside her office.

Out of Character (OOC): Hi, Chris! Did you see Janice’s comments above about how to use the comm badge signals to indicate that you are talking over a comm badge? It’s super helpful. Can you add a little more to your post here so that she can respond to get your character involved? Maybe you can include your character arriving outside of her office?
