Cadet Marshall half walked/half jogged up the corridor toward Sickbay. She felt a little strange, as though her previous 25 years belonged to a different life. She took a deep breath and paused in front of the doors, just long enough to straighten her uniform before stepping forward and through the doors. “So what if my family thinks I am crazy,” she thought, “finally I feel like I could belong somewhere.”bump
OOC: Welcome aboard and welcome back to STF! This is a great first post. Just one tiny thing: don’t forget to sign off ;) and don’t mind my CMO, she is rather … well, let’s say she likes keeping people at a distance, lol

At the same moment Marshall had walked through the door into sickbay, another person had approached the doors from the other side. The person on the other side was a petite Bajoran woman with numerous freckles covering her face. Her copper hair was tide back in a neat French braid, leaving not only her earring, but also the narrow white scar along the hairline on the right side of her face clearly visible. A surprised, “Oh!” escaped her lips and she blinked a couple of times as she looked at the other woman. But it seemed that she quickly regained her composure again and said, maybe a bit more briskly than intended, “You must be one of the new cadets. Hayley Marshall, am I correct?”~Lt. Tija, CMO
“Yes Ma’am,” Hayley replied seeming unfazed by the brusqueness. “I am here for my boarding medical and, well, also to report in with the CMO, You would be Dr. Tija?”
