Dr. Mai Hart was passing by the lounge, and decided to look for anyone familiar with whom to hang out. He recognized Ari, so sprinted up, and took a low squat near Ari’s head, by the sofa, resting his forearms on his kneecaps.
He looked up to Ari, smiling, “Aramis Bijou! That was your name! I remember it! Heeey, Aramis. Are we working out at the same timeframe again?”
Mai pointed with both indexes to his own workout clothes from their last meeting, then at Ari’s, then back to his own.
“I’d greatly appreciate some company for a run soon. Want to join me?”~Cadet, Dr. Mai Hart
Ari looks down to Mai momentarily.
Then, he looks back at his emails.
“I guess I will. I’m sure the extra exercise won’t hurt.”
He thinks for a moment before continuing, “Do you dance? I’m okay at shuffle now, and I’m learning belly.”
He adds, “I like your enthusiasm. You seem fun.”-Cadet Aramis Bijou, Security
“Yeah, I can dance,” the doctor answers. “I was taught by my mother for local little people meet ups with dancing. Nothing fancy, though. Do you think I should expand upon it? Maybe the chickadias would enjoy it if I could do something beyond the basics.”
Dr. Hart reaches his hands to the floor between his knees, and uses it to reposition to sitting on his knees.~Cadet, Dr. Mai Hart
Ari’s jaw drops at the doctor.
“How can you be so cute?” He asks. “You’re unexpectedly one of the most adorable people I’ve ever seen.”
Ari sits up to half-lotus, facing Mai.
“Tell me the secrets of your cuteness, Sensei.”
