Main Engineering - Post Simm Clean-up

Posted Oct. 4, 2020, 8:12 a.m. by Lieutenant Sapeth (Chief Engineer) (Steve Johnson)

Sapeth removed the hyperspanner from his toolkit as he slowly adjusted the dilthium matrix. Having solved the mystery behind the death’s in the XO’s hot tub, it was important to get back to the regular maintenance of the Challenger. Currently the matrix was 3% out of alignment, causing efficiencies to dip by 5%. It should only be a few minor adjustments to correct the misalignment, and with a bit of further refinement, he believed that he could increase the overall power efficiency as well.

Using the spanner, Sapeth adjusted the targeting guides. Just one of the many minor adjustments that his teams would have to make over the coming days. All in the name of keeping the ship at peak efficiency.
