Wondering why he wasn’t captain was Dr. Mai Hart, but he decided again to roll with it. Even though he likely had the higher education.
He was wearing an apple green waistcoat with brass buttons that matched his eyes over a white shirt with black pants, and black swashbuckler boots with more brass buttons. He had a brocaded sash on that was the orange of his curls.
Then he started to wonder as he looked at his pasty hands holding a pair of pistols at a captured hologram pirate he was walking over to Ari, “How is my character pale in the Caribbean? Am I playing a daywalker vampire? And, why are my fingernails so perfect? I’m very clean.”
“Get over to theh captain,” Mai crackled at his capture. “He has questions for you.”~Cadet, Dr. Mai Hart
Ari was also wondering, again, as he emerged from the brig, how Mai’s character was pale in this story, but was wondering if he was ill.
“Yes! Come here! Explain this her that they’re calling the treasure. Then, I’m going to have a talk with the doctor about his lack of color.”
The hologram said, “It’s a ship.”
The first one thus responded, “You traitor! I’ll gut you!”
“Now, now. You shouldn’t have trusted a hiree from Tortuga.”
The spy continues, “It’s a big one. Full of treasure. It’s just sitting in a nearly enclosed bay surrounded by cliffs.”
“Good job,” Captain Ari was pleased with the intel. “Now, we’ll need extra men to sail her.”
“And, Doctor…” He beckons Mai to follow him into the captain’s quarters. “Let’s have a talk about your health.”-Cadet Aramis Bijou, Security
The doctor followed his pretend captain, “I’m not really sure why I’ve lost my skin’s pigment, Sir. I think a bat bit me in a tavern attic last Tortuga visit. Do you think I’ve gotten… Vampirism? I might become light sensitive soon. Perhaps the whole crew is in danger with me on board.”

Ari laughs quite a bit.
Then, he realizes, “You’re serious? A bat bit you? What were you doing in a tavern attic? This is more grave than I expected. Have you bit anyone?”
