Emmy’s bridge shift had gone by with little notable events and so she felt as though she needed something to work the intellectual aspects of her brain before she would be able to get any sound sleep that evening. She stopped by her quarters, quickly changing into a comfortable pair of dark gray leggings with a soft maroon tunic sweater and matching flats, and then collected a nearby chess set and pieces that was wholly un-notable and simply functional. A mere five minutes later, she was on her way to Nine Forward, finding a quiet corner to set up her chess board. She positioned the black pieces on her side and then leaned back a bit in her chair, scanning the room to see if anyone was interested in joining her.Davis, CO

Lieutenant Junior Grade Kyle Anders strode into Nine Forward, feeling a sense of completion given the fact he had just completed the Night Watch Duty Roster for Gamma Shift. He smiled as he saw his Commanding Officer in the corner of the room.
“Good Afternoon Captain,” he said warmly, “You look as if you’re in need of an opponent?” He had a cheekily challenging tone in his voice.
