Sam gets off the elevator at medical and heads into the med bay.
I am here for my on board physical I was told to check in with the chef chief medical officer.OOC: Nice effort with that first post!! In this club, we write in third person (like you see in a lot of novels). Also, please sign off your posts, you can check out how I structured my reply below for some pointers on both.
IC:
“Howdy Cadet,” Sera greeted with a warm smile, “Have a seat on a bio bed. I just need to grab my tricorder and I will be right with you.” She marched over to a nearby tray to select her equipment, pondering ducking out for some lunch after she finished with this newest patient.

” Mam” Sam nodded as he had taken a seat on the bio bed and awaited the medical officers return from grabbing her equipment.
Cadet Samuel McIntyre SecurityGrabbing her tricorder, Sera came over to where McIntyre had settled, “I’ll start the scan, is there anything you’d like me to be aware of while I wait for the tricorder to tabulate your results?”

Sam sat still as the doc did her thing with the tricorder. ” No mam nothing wrong.”
Cadet Samuel McIntyre Security“Alright,” Sera initiated the scan, “It’ll take a moment to tabulate your results, is this your first time on a starship?” She asked politely making small talk.

Sam looked at the doc ” As an adult yes but overall no it isn’t mam I grew up on growing up .” He replied

“Ah,” Sera nodded, “Well, it appears you are healthy. No concerns from me, so unless you have any major concerns about your health, I’ll mark you down as cleared for duty. Do drop by again if you encounter anything new though, I often find people like to let things fester when they could drop by and get a medical issue resolved quickly and with minimal fuss.”
