In approximately the amount of time it would take for her to walk directly from the Bridge to the Transporter Room, the form of the Commanding Officer strode in, although a phaser and a tricorder had appeared on her hip. She mostly ignored the cadet at the transporter console as she made her way to a pad to await the arrival of the remaining members of the away team.Davis, CO
The cadet made such shivers at seeing the CO that the venerable Transporter Chief stepped in. The no nonsense man grunted a welcome to Davis after a quick snap to attention then asked, “how many to beam down, Ma’am?” He tapped a few buttons, “And roughly where do you want to land? In the ruins or outside the… are you going to wear suits?”

After receiving her orders, M’rahja stopped by the equipment room to gear herself for the trip to the surface, then went on to the transporter room. She nodded to the Captain and to the technician and stood in parade rest to the side to make room for the other members of their party.

Emmy mostly ignored the arrival of the cadet to focus on the transporter chief. “Commander Holmman is assembling the away team and will update you on the total number to beam down,” she replied. She left her perch on one of the transporter pads to join him at the console. “Use this coordinates, which are just outside of the ruins,” she instructed and then quickly made her way back to her space. “We will be appropriately equipped,” she concluded her string of responses with, although her slightly narrowed eyes displayed her annoyance at the last comment.

Eric arrived shortly afterwards, tricorder and phaser equipped. “Captain,” he said by way of greeting. “Including us there should be five of us.”
The XO did a quick scan of the room. “Which means we are waiting for our two last cadets before we head down…”
Eric’s eyes glanced at the doors, as if they would open on cue with the last two away team members…
