Office: Chief Engineer - Cadet Thorpe Reporting For Duty

Cadet Thorpe stood outside Engineering with anticipation before the doors slid open with the familiar hiss. A nervous excitement suddenly filled in the pit of his stomach. Nervous because being in Starfleet is now hitting him just how real it is for him and not just a wonderful dream. Excited because of all the hard work he has done to get here and now. He stepped through the threshold gazing at the warp drive in awe. Thorpe shook himself back to reality of the task at hand. He needed to check in, making his way to the Chief Engineer’s office he took in all he could. Before he knew it, the doors were right in front of him. Thorpe took a little step closer, the doors opened. Thorpe stepped in and stood at attention in front of the desk. “Cadet Engineer Robert Thorpe Reporting for duty sir”.
