OOC: i’m not sure who should respond to this so open to all who would be doing his onboarding physicalIC:
Shane felt the meeting with his new CO went well once they got past the embarrassing misunderstanding about his hearing. Shane was able to pull up a map of the ship on the PADD with his order’s and he uses that to find his way to the Sickbay. It is pretty straightforward to get to the Sickbay, as it is on most ships so he was there before he had had much time to gather his thoughts. He walked into the room and looked around for someone who looked in charge.
“Umm, Excuse me.” he says hoping someone will take pity on him.

Carmen spotted a Cadet enter sickbay from across the room, and headed up to greet him.
“Hi, there! Can I help you with anything?” she asked him.
“Oh, Hi Ma’am.. I’m one of the new Security Cadets, Shane Flannaghan.” he said as he handed her the PADD with his orders etc on it. He didn’t want to have any more confusion like he head up on first meeting his CO.
OOC: There should totally be some kind of confusion
