I was about seventeen, head full of glories and triumphs, when we went to a museum dedicated to “Heroes of Earth’s Past.” I wandered off from the main family unit, and found an exhibit dedicated to a group called: “Doctors Without Borders.” These are people who would risk everything going to wars, not to fight, or kill, but to help they gave their all to do the right thing. In that moment I knew my path.

Vanessa nodded he described the moment. “An epiphany like that is a powerful moment for people. I’m glad yours has had such a profound impact on people.”

She shifted to tuck her legs behind her, leaning sideways against the back of the sofa, facing more towards him now. “So, what do you like to do when you’re not savings lives? What do you do for fun, hobbies, that sort of thing.”
