The tricorder scan revealed that the tribble seemed to die from symptoms consistent with the ingestion of something poisonous to the being, although the tricorder was unable to identify precisely what the substance was.

“I didn’t think my hair was that greasy this morning.” Kyle said before thinking.

“Unless your hair were toxic, Lieutenant, I don’t think that your hairs killed him”, Aaron said. According to the scan, the Tribble died from something poisonous, but the tricorder couldn’t identify the substance. Really strange, he thought. And I would say…quite interesting.He turned to Lieutenant T’Saie: “With your permission Lieutenant, I’d like to make an advanced exam on this Tribble to identify the poisonous substance that killed him.”

Anders grinned, “I appreciate the confidence boost Cadet,” turning to the CMO he said, “Doc, if you wish, I can have my men bring the Tribbles they find throughout the ship to Sickbay so you can perform more tests?”

The chemicals on Anders’ hair was consistent with whatever cleaning product he used that morning.
