” A band sounds nice. I play old fashioned Earth Bass. Cliche for the support to play supporting instrument, but there’s just something I enjoy about supporting other’s efforts.” He brushes another strand of wavy hair out of his eyes. Waaay too much conditioner this morning, He thought to himself.
He takes another sip of the tea, his eyes closing for one brief moment as the smell of smoke begins to fill his senses.
Vanessa laughed. “This class has more musicians than any other I’ve had,” she said, continuing to laugh. “You should ask around, you can probably find a few to have a session or two with.”
She sipped her cocoa again. “Do you always find yourself taking a support role in groups?”

“I tend to, unless it’s a crisis, you know? And I dont mind if Im asked to lead, i just prefer to back people up.” He downed the last of his tea.

The counselor nodded. “That makes sense. Is… improving your leadership skills something you’d like to work on?”
Not everyone wanted to nor was suited to be a leader, but it was something Vanessa had helped more than one cadet with in the past.
