“Helm, how long until we arrive at the colony?” Emmy demanded, her green eyes fixating on the young cadet sitting there.

The cadet took an extra moment to verify the information before turning and looking at the Captain. “Two days and thirteen hours at our present speed of warp factor five Captain.”

Emmy glanced around the bridge briefly and, deciding all was in order, turned to depart.
“Commander, you have the bridge. I will be in my ready room.”

“Understood, Captain,” Eric replied, as Davis left the bridge. Relaxing in his seat a bit, Eric pulled up on his monitor the protocols for securing the ship during civilian visits, making sure that they were forwarded to Security as well. He also made sure that the various department preparations were all to be forwarded to him as XO.
Notwithstanding all the stress involved in this rescue operation, Eric was looking forward to meeting some new faces. “Computer, display Starfleet records for the Ferox Thirteen colony”. (OOC: This may be similar to some of the information the counselor has pulled up, but I don’t think we’ve had a chance to share the info our characters have seen.)
