Miya glanced up as the Sickbay doors opened automatically, revealing another cadet. With a warm smile, the Bajoran walked towards the newcomer, halting a couple of steps from him. “Hi there! I’m Ven Miya, one of the medical cadets. How can I help you?”

Jordy replied “im here for my check in at sickbay i heard That is one of my check ins”.

(OOC (out of character): sorry for the delay replying to you, Jordy - life has been a bit hectic for me this last week! I’m Claire and I’m looking forward to RPing with you. As this is your medical check-in, please feel free to tell Miya, my character, about your character’s medical history when we get to that part of the chat. You can always add this information to your bio afterwards, so other people will get to know your character a bit better!)
IC (in character):
“You heard right! We need to check you’re fit and healthy - which I’m sure you will be,” Miya added with a grin, “and also we have to make sure your medical records are up to date. So, why don’t you have a seat on this biobed,” she patted the closest one, “lie back and we’ll get started.”
She turned to the counter to pick up her PADD. “So, cadet, what’s your name and what’s your department?” Looking up from her device, she regarded the newcomer with a bright hazel gaze.

(OOC: phew, that’s good - glad you weren’t waiting just for me!)

“Cadet Kleine .... Cadet Kleine .....” Miya murmured as she searched through the records. “Ah! Found you.” She glanced up with a smile. “I’m Miya, one of the medical cadets; I’ve done quite a few of these check-ups since joining the Challenger! D’you mind if I call you Jordy? Please call me Miya - it’s much more friendly this way, I’ve found!”
As she spoke, she activated the biobed’s sensors and set it up for a standard scan. “So when did you come aboard, Jordy?”
(OOC again: Jordy, there’s not much information in your bio, so can you let me know what sort of information the scan will show, please? For example, has your character had any injuries in the past? Is he allergic to anything? Has he had any serious illnesses? All of this will help you flesh out his bio for the future … and give us something to talk about in this thread! Just tell me OOC and Miya will pick up on the information. Thank you!)

my character is almost never sick and he is Allergic for cats and do i need to do how long i been on the ship in real life or in roleplay because in real life im here for 3 weeks but did only check ins That is strange in roleplay).Cadet Jordy Kleine - Security
(OOC: Thanks for that info, Jordy! Time runs strangely in roleplay - although you’ve been in this group for three weeks, your character may only have been aboard the Challenger for a few hours! The in-game time is the answer I’m looking for. I’ll write a quick reply with Miya now, then have her ask the question again, so you can answer in character.)
Identifying the new cadet’s details from Starfleet medical records, Miya used them to calibrate the biobed’s scanning functions. She took the opportunity to look over his records quickly: he seemed to be quite healthy, which was always good news. Hopefully he’d stay like that for the duration of his time on the Challenger. Interesting - he was allergic to cats; she’d have to check whether that included an allergy to cat-like species, too, although Cadet Ko, a Caitian, had recently graduated .....
“Oh - I’m sorry,” she apologised, realising she’d become distracted from her original task. “I’m afraid I didn’t hear how long you’d been aboard the ship?”

‘I Arived yesterday i Explored the ship the same day today i started the check ins.’ Jordy replied.
