1 hour aerobics, 1 hour ruck, and 1 hour hand to hand. During the hand to hand session, I encountered a simulated scenario. The objective was to defend a place. There’re 2 visitors (non-human species) with a child. The child somehow managed to cross the line I was in charge of. I tried to use voice and translator to order it to go away, but it didn’t comply. It’s either too young to understand or it was exhausted. I saw it’s breathing fast and almost pass out unless I say something to it. I offered if it stayed still I’d bring some water. After I back, something happened, and I had to ready my phaser into stun mode. I shot 3 times then one of them got away, the other stood still. It’s a typical fight or flight scene. I had to fire 3 additional to get the last one off the line. It reminded me of a PKO case in the early 21st century, where all the blocks came together in just minutes. Fortunately no casualties in my case. But I had to sterilize myself in case if that child carried infectious bacteria.

Speaking of that, it seemed this ship was undergoing a refugee evac mission.

After the astronomy exam, I had to go to the armory and pick a phaser. The simulated enemies were in a fortified position and looking for gaps. I rushed to the defensive position and shot 6. 3 hits and one was a headshot. It brought me joy at the same time, sadness. The good thing was shaking happened after the encounter. I was vulnerable after two hours of sitting still. Must be cautious and practice range. Also, I was getting undisciplined on time management these days and that must come back to schedule.

5 hours of aerobics and 1 time running.

This cadet reviewed space mission design and astrophysics, including communication probes, “superstars” in theories, and pulsar stuff. The assignment was to relocate citizens from an earth-like planet. A scientist discovered the fact that it would be crashed by another star in few centuries. The officials had a plan to build starships for this project.

This cadet’s plan was to launch probes for further investigations. This star was categorized as a dwarf, which was used for navigational purposes like the southern cross. While engineers were working on the ships, he would try to find ways to either alter its course or destroy it.

5 hours of gyms, 1 hour of hand to hand, 1 hour of phaser. He was registered in 3rd place in the bullseye test.
