Cadet’s log star date 99219.26

This cadet reviewed space mission design and astrophysics, including communication probes, “superstars” in theories, and pulsar stuff. The assignment was to relocate citizens from an earth-like planet. A scientist discovered the fact that it would be crashed by another star in few centuries. The officials had a plan to build starships for this project.

This cadet’s plan was to launch probes for further investigations. This star was categorized as a dwarf, which was used for navigational purposes like the southern cross. While engineers were working on the ships, he would try to find ways to either alter its course or destroy it.

5 hours of gyms, 1 hour of hand to hand, 1 hour of phaser. He was registered in 3rd place in the bullseye test.

The ship was back to the starbase for resupply and refugees transfer. We rescued them from Ferox 13, a colony that once had 385 colonists and now less than 50 with wounds and PTSDs. The reason behind this was unclear. There’re critical damages to the structures and possibly some kind of explosions happened. Our speculations were either the base power source had exploded or some kind of shootout happened. During the refugee’s transfer, one of our cadets was KIA by an unknown mutated monster. The science team had detected tetryon particles around the ship after the incident. But perhaps that was down there during the massacres. Furthermore, around 2 months ago, from the space degradation, there’s a ship which possibly warped here.

I had an opportunity to operate on the bridge science station in order to retrieve logs. The files were downloaded but honestly, I’m not so sure about the contents. Even though the breach was successful thanks to LCARS but I couldn’t find a download function from the operating window, the banks. So what I did was to literally copy and paste files from there to our ship computer. That did require the ship energy beam to do the job. As most of them were damaged, we sent them to the Fleet for further analysis.

There’s was a sudden command change and including our Chief Science Officer. I wondered if it’s because of this mission. I was planning to give her the answer at the end of graduation but, let’s hope I’d have another chance.

Supplemental: The suiside prevention week was coming. I wondered if our new CNS or CMO had plans.
