=^= Kleine to Rodier i did not understand you can you repeat what you said.=^= ‘Its getting warm in here.’ Jordy went through the tunnel.

Cadet Jordy Kleine - Security

=^= Stay safe. =^= Henry responded.

Going further, Jordy could now see what was once a small room, most likely used for maintenance storage. It was now quite a bit larger from parts of the ceiling and walls being ripped apart, and so covered in bits of fur it resembled a scruffy wall-to-wall carpet. Two cables lay on the floor, their ends chopped off and energy pulsing from them. No fewer than twenty of the furry creatures lay near these cables, with more rooted to the walls.

~ Lt. jr. gr. Rodier - COS

Jordy enterd the room when he saw the cables he grabbed his tricordor and used it by the cabels where the engergy pulses come from. He started to sweat. ‘Its hot in here.’ He said.

Cadet Jordy Kleine - Security

The tricorder returned a very strange reading. It seemed to be detecting energy flowing from the cables directly into the creatures at an efficient pace.

As Jordy examined the cables, one of the creatures closest to them started to expand, with a sort of valley or seam forming in its midsection. Within seconds, this seam popped, forming a second ball of fur. The creature seemed to have reproduced, somehow.

=^= Kleine to Rodier there is some sort of energy coming out of two cables into the creatures dont know what it does to the creatures yet.=^=
He sees the creature expanding and reproducing. ‘More creatures yay.’He said sarcastic.

Cadet Jordy Kleine - Security

=^= ktczkkk =^= came the response. Any incoming signals seemed to be blocked by whatever was happening in this room. Though barely visible beneath the fur, a few switches were still intact on one wall - two blue, one red. The blue switches were dual-position, while the red had multiple numbered positions - from 1-5, currently resting at 2. There was also a small chute in the opposite corner of the room, only a few inches square.

Jordy went to the switches pushing the fur away. ‘What do the switches do?’

Cadet Jordy Kleine - Security

The blue switches were both pushes upwards, while the red switch continued to rest in the 2 position. No labels of any kind were visible near them, with the exception of a symbol above the red switch in the vague shape of a lightning bolt.

~ Lt. jr. gr. Rodier - CoS

‘Lets take some risk.’ Jordy switched the red switch over to 4.

Cadet Jordy Kleine - Security

As soon as Cadet Kleine moved the switch up, a hum filled the room, and the cable ends began to glow. The creatures around the cables, meanwhile, started to make a strange noise, and all of them began to split into two, just like the one Jordy had seen earlier. Within moments, the Cadet’s feet were all but surrounded by the furry beasts.

~ Lt. jr. gr. Rodier - CoS

=^= Kleine to Rodier i maybe have found the power source of the creatures.=^= Jordy switched the red switch to 1

Cadet Jordy Kleine - Security

=^= Good… ktzkk =^= came the crackly reply. As soon as Jordy brought the switch down, the cables stopped glowing, and the creatures stopped expanding, though at least 15 more had popped into existence while the switch was set to 4.

~ Lt. jr. gr. Rodier - CoS

=^= Kleine to Rodier the coms are not working good i dont understand what you say.=^= Jordy switched the blue switches both of them downwards.

Cadet Jordy Kleine - Security

As the switches were brought down, there was a slight hum and the creatures decreased slightly in size, as if they had been a little inflated this entire time. There also came a clear response from Henry: =^= I think you did it, Kleine. The flow of these things seems to have stopped. Now we just need to get you back here… I think the door’s still jammed. =^= Jordy’s path was mildly obstructed by the creatures, but with some maneuvering he could still make it back the way he had come if he so chose. Otherwise, there was a now-unoccupied vent in one corner of the room.

~ Lt. jr. gr. Rodier - CoS

=^= Im on the way.=^= Jordy maneuvered himself back the way he came from.

Cadet Jordy Kleine - Security

OOC: Sorry for the late response!

IC:
Arriving back at the entrance, the two men were able to clear some creatures out of the way and find a way around the obstruction. Once Jordy was back by his side, Henry said, “Well done, Cadet. The rest of the cleanup isn’t your job - after all, what’re engineers for?” He grinned. “Computer, end simulation.” Ending simulation came the response, and the walls around them deteriorated into blue sparkles, revealing the holodeck surrounding them.

~ Lt. jr. gr. Rodier - CoS

Jordy sees the simulation end and looks at the Lieutenant and ask. ‘How did i do sir?’

Cadet Jordy Kleine - Security

“Quite well, Cadet. I wasn’t fully sure what to expect - I’ve never actually run through this simulation for real. But you came through it well, and I think your decision-making skills have come a long way.” He began to step towards the exit, thinking of finishing up his crew evaluations.

~ Lt. jr. gr. Rodier - CoS

‘Am i dismissed sir?’ Jordy asks

Cadet Jordy Kleine - Security

“Oh, yes. You’re dismissed. Keep up the good work.” With that, Henry walked out the door, only a slight redness in his face at having forgotten to dismiss Kleine.
