After departing from Sickbay, Henry and NE Schmilblick headed for the nearest terminal. “Computer, locate quarters of crew member Chekhov.” With the location marked down, the twosome began their search.

Chekhov’s quarters seemed overall unremarkable, though he did have an apparent affinity for the color yellow - perhaps wishful thinking for his career path. The Lieutenant and Ensign carried out a top-to-bottom search of the room, from bedspread to cabinetry.

OOC: Oh dear GM, if Schmilblick needs to be retconned out for some reason, I’d ask that you simply replace them with a different security NE. Thanks :)

Schmilblick, Chekhov, and MacGuffin were all lower deckers, and thus confined to the general crew quarters. When they got there is was fairly empty with most people either being on shift or confined to other decks. Schmilblick showed Rodier straight to the Chekhov’s footlocker. Inside there was nothing, but inside of MacGuffin’s was a small bottle, about half a liter, filled with a spicy smelling brownish red sauce.

“Th-th-that’s it, Chief. That is the Grapok sauce,” Schmilblick stammered out.

It seemed almost surreal to Henry that all the chaos of the day may have been caused by this little bottle of sauce. Nevertheless, he approached it with care. “Well done, Ensign.” He tapped his badge. =^= Rodier to Ven. We’ve located a sample of Grapok sauce - retrieving now. =^=

=^= That’s excellent! Take all necessary precautions, please. We’ll have a team waiting to secure the sample - Ven out! =^=

Reaching down, Rodier unzipped the small bag kept on his belt. Ripping off a bit of bandage, he wrapped part of his hand and, now protected, proceeded to gingerly pick up the bottle. “Let’s go,” he said to Schmilblick, and started back on his way to Sickbay, keeping an eye out for any more disturbances.

All of the sudden there was… no there was nothing.

The return trip to Sickbay was uneventful, other than having to pass the multiple security checkpoints and the occasional roaming rage ensign.

OOC: Had to re-read this more than once haha. Got me good
