Pilar arrived in the transporter room, sprinted to the controls, started tapping on the console, and entered the necessary codes to activate it. She could count on her hands how many times she had actually operated a transporter. One was at the Academy on a training ship, and three other times when she worked as a yeoman on the USS Ganymede while filling in for the transporter chief!
When the screen successfully activated and the status was set to a green Ready, she hit her comm badge and said, =^= Halcyone to Williams. I am in Transporter Room 1. The transporter is ready to go. I will standby for further instruction.=^= She wondered exactly how this plan was going to work. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that when anything or one who had previously used or been in the transporter gets a memory file of their particular pattern created in it. This could theoretically be used to revert them back to their usual state.Halcyone, Counselor

P’Mala Dawes strode into the transporter room. Her head swimmed. It seemed almost preposterous that everything outside of the cargo bay felt like business as usual when Ensign Morton was being gobbled to death by a rift in subspace.
“Counselor Halcyone,” P’Mala said. “The lieutenant sent me. I’m here to do what I can–just let me know how I can help.”

Pilar nodded as the doctor entered the room, “I guess it’s all hands on deck. I have notified Lieutenant Williams and we are waiting for orders.” She paused and realized she had not notified Lieutenant Sheridan and tapped her comm badge to do so, =^=Halcyone to Sheridan. I am in transporter room 1, and the power looks good here. Do you think it will hold long enough for Williams to execute his plan to phase Morton back?=^= She motioned, with her hand, for the doctor to come stand beside her just in case she needed an extra pair of hands on the transporter controls.

NE Stevens arrived in the transporter room to see Halcyone and Dawes getting ready. “So, Williams told me to come to help, but what happened exactly ?”NE Stevens
P’Mala nodded at NE Stevens.
She thought about his question and tried to answer it fully, in her Vulcan manner. “You are familar with Ensign Morton’s… condition, correct? I believe that the plan is to use the teleporters and adjust them to the pocket dimension’s frequency. The goal is to phase Morton into the buffers, readjusted back to our own frequency, and, if necessary, using data from the buffer to… restore his missing parts before we phase him back out again. More or less,” she explained. “Is that the gist of it? I’m also slightly concussed. Counselor?”
“That is the plan....more or less. In any case, if Lieutenant Williams says he has a plan then I trust it is a good one.”
Stevens nodded, his eyes widened : “Well, that surely sound… ambitious !” He scratched the tip of his head, making a quick analysis of the plan : “Well, that could work of course, but we’ll have to be careful when manipulating Morton’s pattern, or else…”
Dawes almost felt like she was watching herself in a holofilm. She’d need to go to Sickbay once all this was over for a thorough checkup.

I can operate the transporter even though it has been a while since I have done so, but Mr. Stevens if you’d like to take over I will not object.” She tapped her comm badge and said, =^= Lieutenant Williams, Dawes and Stevens have arrived in the transporter room. We are ready and standing by for instructions.=^=

Pilar combadge chirped some minutes later : =^= Williams to Pilar… Engage. =^=
