Asaling sat at her desk going over crew evaluations. As the Challengers liaison officer part of her job was to make sure all cadets were ready for their service in the main fleets of Star Fleet.She stood up as she saved the information and made her way toward the XO’s office and rang the chime! She took a deep breath and waited!

Aaron was leaning back in his chair, just looking out the window, when the chime rang.
“Come in,” he said absentmindedly. He had just gotten off of a call from command, and well it hadn’t gone exactly as he had planned. Apparently Captain Rhodes was being recalled back to Earth for some reason or another, and instead of sending out a new Captain, he had been offered the job.
While Aaron had dreamed as a kid about traveling the stars, he had never quite seen himself as the one captaining the ship. He had grown up as a scientist, and had reluctantly moved over to the command track to fill a needed role. But now, his own ship?

Asaling stepped through the door way and stopped just inside the door so that they swooshed closed behind her. She stood quietly studying the man who sat before her. “Is everything okay sir?” She said as she followed his gaze to the stars and got lost them Waiting for a reply.
