This was it, all the years of training and tests had lead to this very moment. So why did he feel like like he had on his first day of school?
“Cmon T, calm down.” He shook his arms trying to get the nerves out, however it probably made him look like an idiot.
The doors to engineering slid open and the light from the warp core illuminated the workstations, the staff hurried about doing…whatever they where doing, Tobias suddenly had no idea what anyone was doing.
“This is not like the academy.” He muttered as he made his way to the COs office, he tried to put on his most confident look as he stepped into the office.

OOC: not quite sure if this one is for me as the chief engineer and your superior officer? but also you said you were in engineering? the CO and/or COs office is on decks 1 or 2, you don’t technically need to do a check in with the CO, but if you were looking to do your engineering check in then you’re in the right place. Just let me know.

Yeah it was for the chief engineer, might have gotten the CO suffix wrong (in a similar role play the command officer was XO and department heads were COs (chief officers)
