Zenzgii sat in the darkest corner of the shuttle lost in thought as they began their final approach onboard Challenger. In his hand he stared at a dimly lit Padd with the heading SFR-02-0933-3440. It had always been his plan to take on leadership, but now that it was reality… Was he ready?
Blinding light broke his concentration as the shuttle hatch opened, causing Zenzgii to blink both sets of eyelids several times before he was able to collect his belongings. Among them he possesed a small containment unit holding a sproutling Papyrus that he looked over. “Kik kln nk…” Zenzgii sighed as he immediatly realized the universal translator would be an ongoing battle “No matter, i’m already here.” He said, carefully securing the paper plant his pack. The Saurian made his way to the turbolift.
As the lift doors opened he was met with two other crew members who made room for him, “Deck Three.” Remaining quiet he regarded the two with large onyx eyes that betrayed his discomfort, his eyes itched, and bright lights didn’t help in the slightest.
“Are you alright?” The Nara woman asked.
“Oh i’ll be fine, thank you for asking though” Zenzgii replied as a large gecko like tongue licked the itch before he blinked again.
This however did not seem to be a socially acceptable way to conduct himself as her face turned from kindness to abject horror in-contrast to what seemed a perpetual smile from him.
Ding “… Deck three.” Zenzgii hurredly made his way off of the turbolift before she could interject. It’s a good thing i’m not molting, I can only imagine what would have happened if my scales started peeling. Making his way to the conference room, he checked his Padd one last time. Should he have done his research correctly it would be just about time for the morning report, making it much easier to track down the Senior Officers he needed to check in with.

The locked door to the conference room alerted Emmy to the request to gain entrance. The ship was in a massive transition time, so perhaps she should have expected the interruption as she settled with her next two in command officers to work through the resulting personnel schedules and quarter requests. She softly instructed the computer to allow the visitor entrance and then flicked her eyes up at the door to see who was disturbing them.
