“Well, at least sickbay isn’t too difficult to find.”
Thomas muttered to himself. He had already been having trouble navigating the layout of the Challenger, and was highly embarrassed about it. He was a Starfleet cadet, he should at least be able to know his way around a Starfleet vessel!
He tried to vanish those thoughts as he walked into sickbay and sat in a rather comfy chair, waiting to be called up for his med-check.OOC: Welcome aboard! Just a small reminder, do remember to sign off your posts :)

Junior Lieutenant Mika headed over, doing her usual work. “Cadet O’Neil? For a boarding eval?” She asked, her eyes settling on the one unfamiliar face she saw. She led him further into sickbay and said, “Pick a biobed, any biobed, and we’ll get this going, alright?”~ Lt JG Mika, CMO
Thomas walked with woman down the rows of beds. He chose one, and sat on the edge of it.
“Wow. These are pretty comfortable, for a medical bed.”
Thomas stated.
“You’re Lieutenant Mika, right? The Chief Medical Officer?”
He quickly followed this up with,
“I did my research on all the senior staff before coming aboard.”Cadet Thomas O’Neil, Security
“Yes, I am! Always a good idea. Know who you’ll be working with,” She said. “So. Anything not in your medical file that should be in your medical file? Changes in habits, or trips outside the Federation, or illnesses?”

“I’ve never been off Earth, let alone the Federation.”
Thomas said, rather sheepishly. One of the personal reasons he joined Starfleet was to break free of the planet.
“And I’ve had no recent illnesses or habit changes. Besides the switch from caffeinated to decaf coffee I made a week ago. That’s going great”
Thomas shook his head, a sour expression plastered on his face for a moment.
