“Hydrofoil sailing using a monohull boat. I thought it looked so fun and you get to go so fast because there’s so much less drag than regular sailing, but despite my best efforts, I do not seem to possess the balance, coordination and quick thinking the sport required. I tended to capsize near rocks. Don’t ask me why, but I did. And when I did I inevitable hit my head or body on something and got a concussion or fracture. I kept thinking that if I kept trying, I’d get better, but my injuries were getting worse, so it was kindly suggested to me by one of my doctors that another activity choice might prove in my best interest. And they were right. But it took one last attempt and visit to the Infirmary to prove it,” Liadra said with a laugh.

“Intirguing, I would love to try it… we could be uncoordinated together.” Cain said, with a wide smile. It was a brief moment that showed he wasn’t all logic and rules, and found the idea humorous.

Liadra laughed loudly. “Only if you promise to explain my inevitable injuries to the folks in Sickbay.” She wasn’t opposed to revisiting the sport, but certainly not in any sort of competitive capacity. She also pondered whether or not they should open it up to others. It oculd be fun and morale boosting, even if she did end up looking rather folish in the end.

“Well I do have some basic medical training, if push came to shove I think I can use a dermal regeneator on you in a pinch.” he said, with a small thin smile across his lips at the idea. He wasn’t really one to patch up the crew but it could be interesting.

“I think I’d rather leave that part to the professionals, but, uh, I might be willing to take a risk here. You know, for the sake of crew morale,” Liadra said with an extra wide grin. She was a social creature and if getting to know the rest of the senior staff result in (hopefully) minor injury, then so be it. She healed well, generally.

“Well, is there anything else you need from me?” Cain asked, wanting to know what else might be needed.
