(snip)AJ thought long and hard about this. “Well I suppose the biggest challenge for me will to be come out of my shell, I have never been good at interactions I usually keep myself to myself”.
AJ knew it was probably not the kind of answer wanted but it was the only challenge he could think of.

“How might you go about doing that?” Liadra asked. Even as she spoke she had already formulated a pathway for the rest of this conversation, but she would naturally let him lead it unless it proved otherwise necessary.
OOC: Go ahead and snip again. It’s a good habit to get into.

AJ scratched his glistening bald head, looked up at the Councellor “I really have no idea, I have only known keeping to myself”.
AJ was now in deep thought and was unawares of how to make himself any different to how he had always been.

She allowed him some time to sit with the silence and she personally didn’t find it uncomfortable. But after a time, Liadra tilted her head and regarded him. “Alright, I’m going to issue you a challenge then. An assignment, if you will. I want you to introduce yourself to three people you don’t know that are not in your department and invite at least one of them, assuming you get along with them, to coffee or a meal in the mess hall to get to know them better.” She eyed him intently to see how he’d react to her challenge.

A slight look of shock hit AJ’s face, “I shall try my best I just never know how to strike a conversation”.
AJ began looking around the room not knowing what to do with himself at this point.
