OOC: This thread takes place after the ship’s engines have been repaired and the departments are ready for departure.

Captain Johnson walked out of his ready room, and headed over to the command chair, nodding at Commander Vahl as she stood up.

“Commander, are all of the departments ready to go?”

“Yes sir, we’re ready for whatever waits for us,” Keena replied with a nod.

As the XO gave David the updates, the Captain sat down in the central chair.

He tapped the comm button on his command chair. =/\= Bridge to Engineering. Are the ship engines ready, Ang’er? =/\=

David then turned to the officer at tactical. “Open a channel to Starfleet and advise that we are ready to proceed to Craxus III.”

Finally, David sat in his chair, relaxing as his ship was finally ready to leave for a new mission. “Helm, take us out of orbit. Set a course for the Craxus system, warp seven.”

-Captain Johnson, CO

Ang tapped her badge with a smile. =^=We are ready, Sir. And cargo check is ready as well. Soon as we arrive, we are ready for contact with SeaHawke for further orders.=^=

Liadra rarely found a need to be on the bridge, since the bulk of her work required her to be working one-on-one with the crew. But this was no ordinary day. After their somewhat abortive assignment before, they were finally getting underway and she wanted to be here for that moment. Not only was it important for her to show support for the CO and XO, she personally was excited and didn’t want to miss out on it.

Slipping onto the bridge, the Denobulan took the third command seat quietly and simply gave a small smile to Johnson. Whatever happened, she felt confident about the team they had in place to guide the cadets.

Keena settled into her chair, happy to be underway on her first full mission with this ship. She had sort of dropped into the middle of the last one, she was looking forward to participating in one mission from start to finish.

NL Darlene Kohl reported, “CPO has reported all relief staff for the SeaHawk are aboard and quartered. 26 of them. That is the last of any ‘cargo’.”
