=^= Starbase medical to Endeavor medical group. Lt Commander Seamus McLean here. We have a request relating to your upcoming mission. =^= This sounded off from the CMO’s principal office, though was overheard by any nosy medics passing near.
- Wookiee

Marlene entered her office and replayed the message awaiting her. Then she opened a channel.

=/\= This is Lieutenant Marlene Judas, the Chief Medical Officer on board the Endeavor. What is your request? =/\=

-Lt Marlene Judas, CMO

Seamus came on. He was pale of face even with his fair hair tinged with red amidst dotted freckles on his upper cheeks. Middle aged, his jowls were starting to look more pronounced. =^= Lt, I am pleased to meet you. Forgive my intrusion. I know from my time on vessels that you are all very busy. Your next mission will be taking you to support and supply a vessel in unique circumstance. Due to the conditions we would like you to undertake sample examinations of the crew. Now, if you do this on their vessel, the SeaHawk, you will need to utilize special instrumentation which we have included in the supplies. Your CPO should be able to locate them for you. You see, the world they are on actively and uniquely breaks down replicated material. Since most of the material which we have today has all or some components replicated, you well, begin to see our problem. =^=
- Seamus McLean

Marlene let out a sigh. =/\= Very well. Is there anything else of importance that I should be made aware of? =/\=

-Lt Marlene Judas, CMO

Seamus considered the question. =^= The Seahawk is a submarine with space capability, and due to heavy metal components in the seas there you cannot transport directly to the ship but be picked up at a dock facility. This is something you may want to talk to with your counselor to coordinate meetings, but there have been notations in reports about them seeing or hearing things. now, yes, that tends to perk the interest of almost everyone about otherwise undiscovered or out of phase or whatever aliens, however nothing they have tried apart from an exorcist has borne fruit. Some consider it a possible factor of space sickness, or sea sickness. Part of your job is to narrow the margins on this if possible. =^=
= Seamus McLean

OOC: Bump

Marlene let out a bored sigh. Special equipment. Hallucinations. Sea faring space travelers. What would they come up with next?

=/\= Understood. We will do our best. Endeavour out. =/\=

She hastily closed the connections, and then pulled up the cargo records to determine what these antiquated devices they had provided for her and her team to use.

-Lt. Marlene Judas, CMO

The cargo manifest did indeed have a case labeled ‘Medical Scanning Devices’. There was a number listed as ‘18 dedicated for SeaHawk use - 6 for temporary Mission use’. As well, there was a bin number - # SFM-087438-Mod. Unfortunately there wasn’t a precise inventory on this for her access. Notations below said: See Bay Staffing for physical access and inventory.
- Wookiee

“Great,” Marlene said, not at all fancying the idea of rummaging through the cargo bays and dealing with more incompetent cadets. She transferred the information to her PaDD and then strode out into Sickbay, stopping in the middle of the room.

“I need someone to come with me to the cargo bay!” She barked, briefly scanning the room to she who might be on duty that she could get to do her dirty work.

-Lt. Marlene Judas, CMO
