They were met with what looked to be a set of museum pieces. Medical scanners from what looked to be the past century were inset in a foamy base in a neat row. On a second row there were what looked to be thin medical PaDD’s. There was a printout as it were of documentation in the lid. “That’s likely for you,” Bobbi said. “Not quite Christmas but you never know.

“I’m sure this will prove to be quite useful” Buckingham said with an interested tone as he closely examined the contents of the box. This certainly was a collection of interesting artifacts.

The documentation was a brief on the specs of the ‘artifacts’. They were original units, however their internal chipset and software had been upgraded to the current standard. Due to the limitation on not having replicated items apparently this was the medical compromise.

The question Bobbi asked was certainly a deep question. “I’m not really sure” Tom said. “We’ll have to wait and see what the wide open galaxy has in store. But for the moment, I’ll just focus on try to be the best Doctor I can be.” He answered, trying his best to make his response lighthearted.

Cadet Thomas Buckingham, Medical

Bobbi gave Thomas a half smile that looked cute on her round face. “Do life to the full as you see what doors lay ahead in other words. You have any specialties? You know, ‘eyes, nose and throat’ kind of thing?”

“My specialist field is Trauma and Emergency Medicine. It sounds a little general, but it’s incredibly useful for this sort of area of medical work. You never know what will come through those Sickbay Doors.” Tom said earnestly.

“Sounds like you’d do well on a kind of forward marine ship,” Bobbi commented. ” Not so good at the sight of blood myself, especially mine. How do you do it?”

Ang stepped into the Cargo bay with Rexar in tow, her voice coming out as a laugh. “All right folks, let’s get this show together.” She glanced around to see if there were other ranking Officers around so they could coordinate before heading down.

Lt. Ang To’kar
CE

((pasted from Engineering))
In that moment he wanted to take her hand, clasp it firmly in his own and pull her close against his chest. He wanted to feel her lithe, supple form press into his tense muscular embrace, to sense her breath on his cheek and her whisper of her wishes to him. Unfortunately Rexars’ reality was a vivid shade of black and he well understood that any contact other than what was expected would initiate a violent combat. He did though enjoy those times as well and looked forward to their next match. So in the instance his passions took flight they had settled and as soon as she had lifted her hand he just as quickly gathered the equipment Lt. To’kar requested and pursued her directly.

“Yes Ma’am, consider it done.” He replied as Lt.To’kar informed him of his dubious task. It would be monotonous. It would be tedious. It would be a pain-stakingly laborious process requiring the utmost precision, diligence and perseverance. He was excited.

“I’m aware of the status of the docking pad on the surface and the necessity of the scientific equipment. Do you have any directives on prioritization Ma’am? As I may compile an algorithm based on recent sensor sweeps to determine what repairs are most urgent.”

Although the question itself seemed redundant, Rexar was attuned to the standard operating procedures of his DH and knew she demanded more than just the textbook efforts.

OOC: The CMO was about and may still be ..
OOC: Actually she left and tasked Cadet Buckingham with sorting out the supplies.

Bobbi saw the engineers coming and said to Thomas. “More company. If you will excuse me, sir.” She smiled sweetly and stood up, approaching the engineers. “Sirs,” Bobbi said. Bobbi was a non com CPO, of medium height, with a round face framed by light brown hair detailed in a bob. “Can I help you? As you can see we have a regular ‘mall’ of things here. Makes a woman want to go shopping.” She smiled again, clutching her large PaDD across her body in front of her.

Ang nodded to Rexar as he made his statement and posed the question. “No special algorythms needed this time. They have already stated the list in order of need. We just need to see to it that materials and tools sent down are not going to disintigrate in the next moon cycle and leave them helpless once more.”

She was inturrupted as Bobbi walked up to them. “Lt To’kar, Ang please. I’m the Chief Engineer and this is Cadet Omtala.” She glanced around as the woman mentioned the veritable cornicopia of tools, materials and sundries to send to the surface. “I can see that. Rex, check the engineering containers please. Make sure diagnostic tools are within calibrations, please. And see to it the requisition list from the planet is all here.” Then she turned back to the woman. “I’d love to see what you’ve got and plans for transporting it to the surface, please.” She nodded to Rex and then headed for the table where several padds and manifests seemed to be sitting.

“Understood Lieutenant, I’ll contact you if there’s anything issues.” Looked over at his DH quickly then side stepped to face Bobbi.

Rexar looked over at the CPO and waited patiently to speak with her. Rexar had a high level of appreciation for NCO’s with their years of experience and expertise. He knew she would have a great deal to offer in this task.

“Chief.” Greeting Bobbi with a nod as he threw out his arm in a forceful gesture to offer his hand. Still awkward in this movement, he soon realized relaxed at the elbow and loosened his shoulder as been told by others how strained and tense he appeared.

“I’ll be performing quality control tests on the equipment as well as component inspections. I would like to inquire about the nature of the cargo and if there were any unusual aspects or oddities you encountered up until now? Other than the obvious conditions of course.”

Rexar rattled out his statement with the cadence of a computer recall. His face blank and still, yet his eyes filled with intensity while his receptors scanned the cargo bay in a light, fluttering motion.
